The whole sneaker culture is growing and so is the community of sneaker customizers. While there are great forums for customizers a central place for news and new releases was missing. Customsnkr.com was created to fill this gap.

Instead of creating a single blog customsnkr.com is a multiblogging plattform that offers free blogs to customizers. Customizers can contribute to the “Community Blog”, show or sell their artwork in the “Latest Customs” section and share their knowledge in the “Customization Help” section besides having an own blog. Every blog comes with an integrated Flickr photogallery to display the latest customs of each designer.

Sneakersociety.com is Thailand’s first sneaker website. It is live since May 2006. Thailand has a growing sneaker community and the crowd needed a place to hang out and get the latest informations about local release dates and sneaker related events.

Sneakersociety.com has a forum for sneakerheads besides the blog and even though its currently just in Thai people can get information about some of the hotspots to buy sneakers in Bangkok. Sneakersociety.com also hosts meetings of sneakerheads in downtown Bangkok and organizes other activities.

mashKULTURE.net is based in Hungary and delivers information about sneaker and streetwear in both Hungarian and English.

The site’s initial reason for coming to be was so that Hungarian youth/street culture could have a sneaker/streetwear blog in their own language, as up til now, there was none. The reason for the English mirror is so that those from all over the world can visit, read articles, interviews, news about the scene in Hungary, since there is often news that pertains to the Hungarian sneaker/streetwear/street art culture on the site. First off a little background info on me… my name is Joey Abboud, I’m 23 years old and I’m a 4th year Film Student in Canada - so besides reppin PUMA all day I’m actually working on films and developping my filmmaking skills…

I grew up rocking PUMA kicks, I got my first pair when I was 8 bro!!! And since I grew up with Italians all my Italians friends rock’d PUMAS….and all their friends rock’d PUMAS and so on…. So I grew up in this underground movement of kids expressing their kicks!!! I remember seeing this 11 year old kid coming to school in his PUMA Suedes HiTops and had customized his laces, they were a different color and they were wider and fatter then regular laces
- and that really caught my attention…. After that I started collecting PUMA kicks like a fien…. It became addictive every pay check I’d get from working @ a Coffee shop I’d spend it on getting the latest PUMA kicks!!! When I was 16 I had around 30 different kicks and it just grew from there. Now I have well over 80 PUMA kicks and it’s still an addiction!!! But it’s a form of street expression!!!

Over year ago I had prolly the brightest idea ever and that was to create a interactive PUMA Lifestyle community for PUMA enthusiats. Because I knew there was a demand for it, I mean before PUMATALK, PUMA Heads would go online on any sneaker site and talk about PUMA & random kicks, there wasn’t a dedicated site just to talk about PUMA kicks!

PumaTalk has a bunch of benefiting features for members and guest, your Forum is dope filled with mad relevant information and we monitor it like crazy to ensure accuracy and relevancy from our members contributing to the Brand.

In a few short months, Nice Kicks has become one of the most read sneaker news blogs on the Internet. Each day, Nice Kicks is giving their readers what they want - news and updates about some of their favorite sneakers including Air Jordans, Air Force Ones, Lebrons, and other up and coming brands like Greedy Genius.

The blog was started in April 2006 by a long time sneaker head. The site is run by two people in the New York area. Its a blog for all fashion related info including but not limited to sneakers, clothing, electronics, hiphop, etc.

It has been running for 2 months and is updated 5 times daily with great info and interesting stuff. The main motivation for it is to keep the scene going and to give all the people that always ask us about kicks and music informed. It is not only a blog but it is also a clothing brand. It doesnt only provide info on fashion but it supplies it as well.

This blog like the name says is all about Nike Skateboarding aka Nike SB but besides their focus on Skateshoes they also feature all sorts of other sneaker models.

They have by far the fastest news on sneakers in all the leading blogs..they have posted numerous leaked out sample shoes which have then been posted on other blogs… Their sample shoes always result in hot topics in leading forums such as ISS, niketalk etc…
