Sneakart is a new company, created by ex adidas and Puma designers, that has created a totally new, non permanent method of sneaker customization.
The concept is basically stickers for sneakers that are made from ‘sneakskin’, a specially developed, super thin, sticky, graphic film that’s waterproof, durable and flexible. The film is clear so can be applied to any light coloured, white or metallic shoe. We’re offering pre-cut stickers that are super easy to apply and pattern sheets where, with a little bit more skill and care, you can apply a graphic to a whole panel and create amazing custom effects in minutes.
The application is not permanent but can last several months and then peeled off like a normal sticker. Sneakskin flexes and moves with the shoe and looks like it’s part of the leather. We have a library of hundreds of our own designs and we’ll also print out uploaded designs. People can allow us to sell these if they choose and make a royalty from each sale their designs make. We will also showcase collaborations and will highlight featured artists - uploaded artwork that we really love and want to promote.
The main idea behind this concept is that it’s a quick, fun and inexpensive way to customize shoes that you will wear everyday, rather than shoes you might keep for display. You can refresh your design whenever you feel like it and you can easily experiment with different looks without destroying a shoe.

Whats up everyone My name is Victor Vohidov AKA Desp One, was born and raised in Moscow. On a visit to the NYC when i was 12 i ran into an art form called Graffiti, i fell in love with it the moment i saw it, ever since then i have been writing.
At this point i am in my 11th year of non stop graff writing. In 2003 i was introduced into the fashion world by my sisters friends, who asked me to design a couple of tee shirts for their web design company. In 2005 i moved my graff work on to canvas and clothing due to legal issues. In 2006 i moved to Toronto, Canada to attend University of Toronto. (Ms. Adrian) “I began making outfits and customizing them when the boys started out over 10 years ago! When B5 first started as the “TNT Boys”, money was low so I had to get creative with the resources I had! I would take old jeans, shirts, jackets and hats and give them a custom look with paints, glitter, rhinestones and more! I’m an 18 year old and an up and coming female sneaker designer. I didn’t really start getting into sneakers when I was in my sophomore year in high school, I always loved the different designs and brands, never could afford all the expensive brand names like everyone else.
I wanted to design my own and started that in December of 2006, and have already progressed this far. The custom sneaker game is mainly male dominated, just like in Hip-Hop, and there’s not too many females around my age doing what I do. It’s really nice having something that no one else has, and when people come up to you in the mall and are like, “where’d you get those?”
It’s a blessing being able to create a work of art on a pair of sneakers. Gaining clientele, friends, etc. People will respect you for what you do, or they can simply envy you. When it comes to art, there’s no limit, just like Picasso, Van Gogh and Andy Warhol, being creative and just thinking outside the box. Most sneakers that you want, you can’t find in stores, thats why I put my own thoughts onto shoes. I’m also into creating sneaker canvas’ as well. When you view my site, there’s different types of designs you’ll see, it’s not all the same designs. I want something basic and complex, just to satisfy the customers needs.
