verve-magazin is a refreshing new concept: magazine and marketplace for streetfashion-brands and sneakers.
It’s finally done and Verve is online!

Two years have passed since we set up the first ideas for our internet-magazine of visual inspiration. Two years of hard work and self progress. Issue No.1 is now the temporary essence of a verve we put into the project. With the contributing illustrators Stina Persson, who leads you into her edgy but elegant world of ink, watercolour and gouache and Tomek Sadurski, who gave the Denim Story a comic-style twist, we were lucky to collaborate with two highly creative artists. And that’s what verve-magazine.com is all about. It is a borderless platform for artists of fashion, photography, illustration, graphics and design.
But there is a plus for you the reader - the marketplace. This is a unique shopping area in each fashion editorial, where you can buy selected pieces from the shootings, directly online. So don’t hesitate to go shopping for exclusive items like Swear Shoes, Qwst, WK Interact, Wrangler or Lee.
Enjoy the following pages and find your own verve!

Hikmet the owner of Solebox started his first sneaker shop in 2001 in Berlin Mitte. He was a bit ahead of the time because not many people in good old Germany really understood why he sold “old sneakers”. He sold OG sneaker, deadstock stuff in their original boxes.

In 2003 he moved to a new location and started Solebox with his two brothers. Right now they have two shops in Berlin, TRAINER in central Berlin and SOLEBOX in west Berlin. Solebox has all major brands, rare sneakers and frequently exclusive releases. The sneaker culture grows in Germany and top shops like Solebox support this development.
Some word from Hikmet:
May the sole be with you…

Sneakersnstuff got it all. Puma, Reebok, Nike, New Balance and some other brands that make sneakerheads go nuts. Well, it’s not just the brands, their selection of shoe models rocks as well.

Some words from the Sneakersnstuff crew:
Sneakersnstuff (SNS) was opened on the 26th of March in 1999. It was opened by Erik Börjesson and Peter Jansson, both of whom had a lengthy working experience within the field of sporting goods as well as being crazed sneaker collectors, as they both felt that there was no alternative to the big retail chains dominating the market in Stockholm, Sweden. After a successful trip to New York which both yielded inspiration and some exclusive goods absent in the Swedish market, sneakersnstuff was born. Later in May the same year the web shop sneakersnstuff.com was opened so that sneakersnstuff’s unique assortment could be offered to the rest of the world.
sneakersnstuff was the first store in Northern Europe to sell Quickstrikes from Nike and after a few but very successful collaborations with Puma and New Balance sneakerheads worldwide are now familiar with the store.
Look out for the upcoming adidas ZX 700 designed by SNS and inspired by the new SNS Store in Malmö.
Release date is scheduled to drop in September.
