KicksOmeter. With over 4 years experience in testing bball shoes kicksOmeter is the largest sneaker review magazine worldwide. The detailed reports and photos are the players first choice to get information upfront buying new sneakers. You can download the mag for free at www.kicksometer.com as .pdf file.

Every review comes with large photos, a ranking system and a detailed account of what makes the shoe a must-have (or not). Therefore the kicksOmeter crew wears every shoe at least 6 times during on-court action. After each session the crew studies the kicks and rate them in the 4 main categories: traction, support, cushioning, comfort & fit. After all the testing a detailed report is written based on the our observations.
Together with a detailed measurement system and high professional photography the final report is at least 3 pages long. If it takes too long to read, just check the quick overview table with the diagram, a summary and a best for position indication.
Since 2004 visitors at kicksOmeter.com can also vote for the “shoe of the year”. This global campaign follows the rules of the NBA playoffs. All sneaker brands are spitted into different conferences. The best 8 shoes of each conference battle round by round for the Finals. Here the best 2 sneakers of the last season facing head to head with only one winner.
But the magazine and the kicksOmeter sneaker playoffs (all voted by players around the world) are not the only hot features. In summer the largest interactive sneaker database and the sneaker encyclopedia (”kicksOpedia”) are coming online.
It’s all about your shoes!

“Nice Trainers Mate” comes from the greeting often exchanged between Trainer (Sneaker) fans in the UK from the 1980’s onwards.

The website is UK based and mostly reflects the trainers made popular by the “Casual” movement of the 80’s, but anyone from around the world is free to post their favourite sneaker pics (as long as they don’t infringe copyright of course).
The site is made up of albums for the main trainer brands and some sub-albums for some of the more popular Adidas sneakers. It’s free and easy to register and then you can upload pics, rate other members photos and add comments and descriptions to your own albums, be they public or private.
