Sneakart is a new company, created by ex adidas and Puma designers, that has created a totally new, non permanent method of sneaker customization.
The concept is basically stickers for sneakers that are made from ‘sneakskin’, a specially developed, super thin, sticky, graphic film that’s waterproof, durable and flexible. The film is clear so can be applied to any light coloured, white or metallic shoe. We’re offering pre-cut stickers that are super easy to apply and pattern sheets where, with a little bit more skill and care, you can apply a graphic to a whole panel and create amazing custom effects in minutes.
The application is not permanent but can last several months and then peeled off like a normal sticker. Sneakskin flexes and moves with the shoe and looks like it’s part of the leather. We have a library of hundreds of our own designs and we’ll also print out uploaded designs. People can allow us to sell these if they choose and make a royalty from each sale their designs make. We will also showcase collaborations and will highlight featured artists - uploaded artwork that we really love and want to promote.
The main idea behind this concept is that it’s a quick, fun and inexpensive way to customize shoes that you will wear everyday, rather than shoes you might keep for display. You can refresh your design whenever you feel like it and you can easily experiment with different looks without destroying a shoe.

Whats up everyone My name is Victor Vohidov AKA Desp One, was born and raised in Moscow. On a visit to the NYC when i was 12 i ran into an art form called Graffiti, i fell in love with it the moment i saw it, ever since then i have been writing.
At this point i am in my 11th year of non stop graff writing. In 2003 i was introduced into the fashion world by my sisters friends, who asked me to design a couple of tee shirts for their web design company. In 2005 i moved my graff work on to canvas and clothing due to legal issues. In 2006 i moved to Toronto, Canada to attend University of Toronto. At this point i was introduced to customizing sneakers and it blew my mind, being able to mix the love for graff with the love for kicks together.
I have been heavily involved in sneaker customizing for the past 2 years and have no plans in stopping. Our company Fresh&Fly Customz (F&F C) is dedicated to providing one of a kind hand painted sneakers, tee’s, sweatshirts, and fitteds.

“Diamond Dawgz” started as Ms. Adrian Breeding, mother of BadBoy Recording artists “B5″, took interest in making and designing appearance and performance clothing for her high-energy celebrity sons! As B5’s popularity has rose over the years, so did the fans awareness of B5’s unique style and fresh flavor!
(Ms. Adrian) “I began making outfits and customizing them when the boys started out over 10 years ago! When B5 first started as the “TNT Boys”, money was low so I had to get creative with the resources I had! I would take old jeans, shirts, jackets and hats and give them a custom look with paints, glitter, rhinestones and more! Not able to afford new sneakers at the time, I would take and clean the sneakers and then paint them with white spray paint to give them a new look, and would then customize them with paints and glitters! That’s how it all started!”

I’m an 18 year old and an up and coming female sneaker designer. I didn’t really start getting into sneakers when I was in my sophomore year in high school, I always loved the different designs and brands, never could afford all the expensive brand names like everyone else.
I wanted to design my own and started that in December of 2006, and have already progressed this far. The custom sneaker game is mainly male dominated, just like in Hip-Hop, and there’s not too many females around my age doing what I do. It’s really nice having something that no one else has, and when people come up to you in the mall and are like, “where’d you get those?”
It’s a blessing being able to create a work of art on a pair of sneakers. Gaining clientele, friends, etc. People will respect you for what you do, or they can simply envy you. When it comes to art, there’s no limit, just like Picasso, Van Gogh and Andy Warhol, being creative and just thinking outside the box. Most sneakers that you want, you can’t find in stores, thats why I put my own thoughts onto shoes. I’m also into creating sneaker canvas’ as well. When you view my site, there’s different types of designs you’ll see, it’s not all the same designs. I want something basic and complex, just to satisfy the customers needs.
uniQue de$igns is my company name, being uniQue and standing out from the crowd is what my main thing is to do. I don’t stick to one type of

I’m 21 an up and coming sneaker customizer that continues to push themself every day. I started FlyKickz late December 2006 but before I started doing sneakers, I did my research. When I design I tell myself art has no boundaries, every style should range from simple to complex so that everyone can have a chance to express who they are, through art.

I ‘ve done shoes for Ice T and Common and its alearning experince ever time a do a shoe. There like minnie murals walking around…. I have been blessed with really a god given talent to draw and paint.. So back in the day we used to do alot of jackets and pants and hats of course shoes… am talking ‘84 85 86…those were the days….. Cazzalie shades and Hi-top fades…..fast forward to know its a different time everything so fast and connected…… I post a pic on myspace and it gets post on some blog like 30 seconds later around the world..as for personal goals… Sneaker Pimps tour…that would be the ish……

I started customizing 3/4 years ago. I started it to get more individual and exclusive Sneakers. First I heard about it in Complex Magazin and I bought some Methamphibian and SBTG Kicks.
I was thinking aout that and decide to make my own ones. So I started to do this. The label is Pats83 and I’m working with the Name Champate. Some words on my psydonym Champate:
The first part is Cham - it is from Chameleon, because this reptile arrange itself to his environment, like I do it with the shoes for their owners. The second part is pate - it is from pupate, the process of eruca becoming a butterfly. It is like the process the base model becomes an individual custom shoe.
I’m open for personal orders. Just send me a mail and we sort everthing out. If you have some ideas you want tell them to me, but you have to undestand that there will be personal influences, because I want to “tell a story” with my shoes and so it is very important to me that everybody sees that this shoe is made by me. As you see on my models much things a possible and there are many more things to make.
Just ask me! You will get a blueprint, so we can figure out, if you like it or we have to make some changes.
I’m also open for orders by stores and shops - small series of a pair or something like that. All shoes are original, but they are customized by myself!!!
And I have no special style to make my shoes. I just want to tell a story with my shoes like interprating poetry - it is ART!

I was drawing sneakers in Jr.High.An started my way up to customizing sneakers in my Senior year in High School,2006.I just love art and sneakers. So I just decided to customized sneakers for the love of it.
