I started the blog earlier this year because of my interest in sneakers and fashion. My motivation behind the blog was to offer my opinion on the latest going on in the fashion and sneaker world and update people on it.

I thought it would be cool for me to have my own little spot to offer my opinion to the world. For the most part I tend to write about the latest going on with fashion and sneaker but you could also roll through and find out about the lastest tech,videogames,music,anime,manga, and even girls. Well what can I say. I started customizing sneakers half a year ago. I entered the Scandinavian Adicolor/Vice contest for fun (designing an Adidas Adicolor shoe on paper and maybe qualifying to the final top ten). So I qualified, went to the finals in Sweden, did what I came to do and I actually won. Then it was on.

A bit later I also qualified for the International Adicolor contest but unfortunately I didnt win. I got the 4th place, but it was fun joining. So now I make sneakers on a weekly basis. I sell them online, in sneakershops, in magazines and in excibitions. Im (ofcourse) also a graffitiwriter, a graphic designer, photographer, illustrator and a dj.

The name Johnny Jaywalker comes is really my dj name. JJ just turned in to my artist name in a way. (we are a dj-trio from Norway called the Jaywalkers. (which is Johnny Jaywalker from the Johnny Walker whisky + Jacob the Jaywalker from Jacob The Jewler & Luke Jaywalker from Luke skywalker)) check out www.thejaywalkers.blogspot.com.

RSS stands for Rich Site Summary, or for Really Simple Syndication. Both mean basically the same thing, so you can forget one of it or both because the good thing about RSS is not the name, it is what it does.

What does RSS for me?
RSS delivers the information to your RSS news reader software or your web based RSS reader. You can add all sorts of feeds and your RSS reader will show it.

Why should you use RSS?
Because it saves your time that you can spend more time surfing on p*rn sites or writing fan mail to your favorite band on myspace.

Set your RSS reader up
You can either go for a web-based solution like newsgator or bloglines, go for a plugin like sage if you have Firefox or Pluck for Internet Explorer or you go for a stand alone software such as RSS Owl.

Usually a web-based solution is the best choice because you can login and check your favorite news from everywhere

Register, download, install or whatever is needed to get your Rss reader going and…

Start adding RSS feeds
You can find feeds by looking for symbols like this on your favorite websites or text links that say for example XML, Feed, Atom or Subscribe. You just copy the link of the feed in your RSS reader and that’s it.

Tired of mainstream? Check the nichemarket with some rare and a lot of fresh kicks and gear.

I am Bobby Webster. I am just a fan of sneakers and streetwear in general. I have worked in a few different sides of the clothing business before opening NICHE. We opened up NICHE and launched the site in September of ‘05.

On our current site you will find some rotating images of the store, a news section and new arrival pics. Customers are able to find & purchase some of the merchandise that is available in our retail store in Charlotte, NC. We carry Nike, Adidas, Vans Vault, Creative Recreation, Gravis, PF Flyers, Alife, JB classics (Sept), 10 Deep, King Stampede, Staple, WESC, UARM, Stussy, Freshjive, PRPS denim, Edwin denim and more!

The motivation for the site was just to give people a view of the store and what we are about. One interesting feature we implemented on our site is a press / design page. In the year we have been opened I feel we have done a lot design wise. This includes different logos, ads and various promo materials. I really wanted to showcase what my designer friends have done.

Sneakerzion.com is open since December, 2005. Lionel and I run the website. Basically, we started doing this because we’re sneaker addicts and basketball freaks.

We wanted to do something related with our passions we really love what we do. We’re french, respectively 28 years old for Lionel and 27 for me. In France, the sneaker culture is getting more and more important but we think we’re really the first french sneaker website to start selling exclusively online.

Sneakerzion has a pretty nice design. Just check. I guess you will agree.

Germany’s growing sneaker culture has their first own sneaker magazine. You can find some previews of articles on their website.

The lace sneaker magazine is a german based international sneaker magazine. Two times a year they show a huge overview of all styles of the season, besides you can find lots of interviews, fresh news and a store detector for your shopping sprees. Check it out!

Solepedia is based on the wikipedia system and everyone can add and edit the content of solepedia. They also have a little blog section but their sneaker news are not updated on a regular basis, it doesn’t really matter anyway because their strength is their database of sneakers which are categorized by brands and models.

If you hear some sneakerheads talking about one particular model and want to know more about it check out Solepedia. They have hundreds of pages with information on various sneaker models and brands and more pages are added every day. Alongside information on individual shoes they offer useful information like their shoe size conversion chart which lists the different sizes sorted by brands.
